Visit the National Wetland Centre Wales for a wonderful day out whatever the weather, whatever the season!

National Wetland Centre Wales

Stretching over 450 acres on the Burry Inlet, this magnificent mosaic of lakes, pools and lagoons is home to countless wild species as diverse as dragonflies and Little Egrets. Plus over 650 of some of the world’s most spectacular ducks, geese, swans and flamingos, many so tame they feed from the hand.

Families can have hours of fun in the indoor, interactive Millennium Discovery Centre and children can crawl and slide through the unique tunnels of Water Vole City.

During spring and summer months visitors can explore previously inaccessible watery expanses on our Canoe Safari or hop aboard one of our fleet on bicycles and explore the Millennium Wetlands on our Bike Trail. (Bike Trail open Easter to end October, Canoe Safari open Easter to end September. Both activities are available every day throughout the school holidays and on weekends during term time).

Or visitors can simply relax in the comfort of the Estuary Café and enjoy delicious home cooked food, panoramic views and amazing wildlife.
