WWT London offers schools unique out of classroom learning opportunities, making us the ideal choice for your school visit themed around nature, wildlife or sustainability.

Our learning programmes run throughout the year making us the perfect choice for a school visit any term:

  • Spring is the ideal term to observe life cycles with the arrival of young birds and amphibians
  • Summer term provides an opportunity to see visiting swallows and sand martins as well as our resident reptiles and a wonderful variety of flowering plants
  • Autumn term visits provide a great introduction to your science topic for the new term and is a fantastic time to witness the wonders of migration

A holder of the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, WWT London is recognised as a provider of quality, safely managed outdoor learning experiences for pupils of all ages.

Free school visits

Thanks to sponsorship by the Mayor of London we can offer all state schools in Greater London a free school visit including an inspiring learning session absolutely FREE.

The schools' programme is also generously supported by The Berkeley Group.

Special reduced rates are available for independent schools and all other pre-booked educational groups such as Eco-Clubs, Scouts, Brownies and Sunday Schools etc.
