Meetings, meetings and more meetings
I have a very hectic week ahead of me.
I have recently been at our visitor services training day. We call our teams on the information desk the visitor services team as they do not just provide information but do all of the talks and tours as well. We have a set team for each that works really well but every now and again we arrange a get together for them all to discuss issues and provide them with an update of what is happening at the centre - we also like to have a bit of fun and have a few games as well! The meeting went really well and we will aim to do them every three months.
I have meetings most of this week. I am in an avicultural meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the long term plans for our waterfowl gardens and then I am off to Slimbridge on Thursday and Friday to discuss the progress of all of our new developments. I should hopefully have a lot of information to provide you with next Monday and if anything happens at the Centre over the next few days, our Marketing Manager, Victoria will update the diary.
