While Andy's away

Andy is away from the office this week at a meeting for all our Centre Manager from across the country. We wanted to keep you updated so today's diary is written by Lucy. I'm the Receptionist at the Centre, so if you ring up you will probably end up speaking to me!

Things are quite quiet on the whole as the weather isn't great at the moment, but the upside of this is that it has brought the Whooper Swans in from Iceland! We are up to just over 100 at the last count and 12,500 Pink-footed Geese. These numbers are much lower than this time last year due to the warmer weather we were having earlier this month. In october last year we reached our record number of over 36,000 and we are hoping to reach these number again this year.

We are now taking bookings for the Swan events. There is the Dawn Flight and Floodlit swans. See our event page for more details on how to book.

Andy is due back in on Monday and I'm sure he will update you of how the Centre Manager Meeting went over these couple of days.
