An Easter update
Thank goodness the second half of the Easter holidays brightened up! It was very wet here over the Easter weekend which was a shame as Easter is usually a very busy time for us.
In some good news though, we have ten greater flamingo eggs, so we are very confident that we will have another good year for flamingo chicks that are usually due to hatch in early May. Everything is progressing well with the play area development and the contractors are due on site anytime now to start work, aiming for completion on 2 June, which will be a really exciting time for the centre.
We also have an event planned for the bank holiday weekend, which is called 'Science is Fun' weekend so the plans are underway for that and now that the sun is shining there is a really good vibe to the centre and a lot of excitement about the developments we are opening this year.
