Another dry day, third in a row but with a cool easterly breeze. Two litlle ringed plovers showing well on the Folly Pond with a single common sandpiper. yellowhammers, whitethroats and chiffchaffs all calling this morning. The barn owl nest loft is empty this morning for the first time this season, the last owlet seems to have flown the nest last night.
