An autumnal feel to the day with a steady passage of Meadow Pipits, several Grey Wagtails, Sand Martin and Swallows flying south. Also at least 10+ Chiffchaffs on site mainly along the reed bed walk along with Goldcrest, Sedge and Reed Warbler still. Further adding to the autumnal feel were the 700+ Pink footed Geese using the reserve throughout the day.
