3 species of egret

A great day today at WWT Welney for our second day of Wader Week.  We started off the walk on the veranda overlooking Lady fen where we saw the cattle egret.  Also lots of little egrets feeding around the main pool.  We saw lots more exiting things along the way including a great show by the water rail in front of the main observatory.  It was a nice adult male.  We then had great views of the great white egret from Lyle hide which is still showing really well. I apologise for the photo taken on my mobile phone.
