Spooktacular fun had by all

A frightfully fun time was had by all who attended WWT Llanelli's Spooky Nature Nights on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2015.

There were wonderfully wicked Halloween costumes making it difficult to judge the fancy dress winner and everyone got into the spirit of things to enjoy the spooky side of wetland wildlife.

Visitors were treated to seeing animal skulls close-up, trying their hand at potion making, having their faces painted and creating some scary crafts which included a very handy lantern to light the way for the pitch dark bat walk to the Heron's Wing Hide.

And new for this year was Magic School, where Eric our magician delighted groups with fabulous tricks and even shared some of his magical wisdom so that children could try out the tricks to friends and family when they got home. But he wasn't sharing any information about the mysterious water trick - we think he made the water disappear using the magic of the wetlands!

After a busy night everyone was treated to a comforting hot chocolate and cake offering the perfect end to a spooktacular night.
