Spoonbill again...
Spotted Crake and Hen Harrier- Again no sign of either today, they have probably moved on.
Holden Tower
The adult Spoonbill was viewable from the Holden Tower at 0800hrs feeding in the main channel near the Zeiss Hide, unfortunately when I got to the Top New Piece it had moved on.
Rushy Pen Hide
1 Ruff and 240 Teal at 0800hrs but work party present all day and on/off for next couple of weeks.
South Lake
Three juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, 9 Ruff, 200 Lapwing, 100+ Black-tailed Godwit, Greenshank, 20 Redshank and 4+ Snipe were on the scrape.
Zeiss Hide/Top New Piece
A single Little Stint was with 17 Dunlin, the adult Spotted Redshank was with 2 Redshank. 1000+ Teal and 250 Wigeon were also on the flood. Adult Spoonbill was seen earlier in the day, see above.
