Sightings

The first Little Gull of the year appeared on the Mere mid afternoon, a 1st summer bird. Also 2 different 1st summer/2nd cal year Mediterranean Gulls on the Mere in the morning and a breif visit by a pair of 2nd summer/3rd cal year Mediterranean Gulls in the afternoon.

A pair of Cuckoos have arrived back and have been reported over the last few days, the best chance is probably the reedbed walk area or from Harrier Hide where they have been reported, one also down Curlew Lane last night as well as the usual Yellow Wagtails.

Also in recent days up to 100 Black-tailed Godwit on site.

Banded Demoiselle Damselflies are now on the wing and can be seen on the reedbed walk.
