Owen: “The oldest brood are enjoying their outdoor tank. We drop food pellets into the water for them to dive after. I can feel them nibbling my fingers underwater, and the rush of water from their feet as they swim past. One female seems to have taken a shine to us, and is waiting for us as we enter the aviary – it’s hard not to have a soft spot for her.”
