As the UK's leading wetland conservation charity, we rely on the support and generosity of individuals, trusts and companies to achieve our goals. With your help, many of the world's most endangered wetlands and the wildlife they support can be protected.

Where your money goes

For every £1 you give to WWT we spend 87p to benefit wildlife & wetlands and use the remaining 13p to raise the next £1.

We rely on your donations to:

  • Save critically endangered species from extinction.
  • Protect the world’s most vulnerable wetland habitats and their wildlife.
  • Manage 2,600 hectares of wetland in the UK at our nine centres, the home of large, diverse populations of wildlife and some of the UK’s great wildlife spectacles.
  • Inspire children (and everyone!) to learn about wetlands and their wildlife, and take action to protect them.
  • Work with communities around the world who depend on the wetlands for their livelihoods, so that wildlife can live safely and in harmony with people.
