Gifts in Memory

Making a gift to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust in the name of a loved one is a wonderful and lasting way of remembering them. It is also a unique way to help secure the future of the UK’s wetlands and their wildlife.

Your gift may be in lieu of flowers for a funeral, a one-off gift or a regular gift to commemorate a loved one’s birthday or anniversary. Your generosity will benefit the UK’s most beautiful wetlands and the wildlife they support.

Plaques and Benches

The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust aims to restore wetlands to their natural beauty and create optimum habitat for an abundance of wildlife species. Our nine centres captivate that mood by remaining as natural as possible. Each centre has allocated a finite number of spaces for benches and plaques appropriate for moments of rest and reflection.

As a result, the opportunity to sponsor a bench or provide a plaque is limited and unlikely. However, for gifts totalling £200 or more, we would be pleased to acknowledge the name of your loved one in a Book of Remembrance at our Slimbridge headquarters.
