Arundel Wetland Centre restaurantThe Water's Edge Café offers a delicious selection of hot and cold food, a variety of teas, coffees & chilled drinks and tempting homemade cakes & cookies. From healthy vegetarian salads to equally healthy and hearty meat & seafood dishes, all can be enjoyed overlooking the beautiful Swan Lake.

Fully licensed to serve alcohol. Hot food served between 11am and 3pm.

Arundel Wetland Centre shopThe gift shop stocks a wide range of wildlife books, bird feeder/boxes, cards & stationery, gifts & souvenirs of your visit to the centre, including a unique range of products featuring the life and artwork of WWT founder Sir Peter Scott.

Approximately every other week, there is a visit by an in focus optics retail outlet in one of the hides, selling a range of optical goods to suit your bird watching needs.

Terms of Entry

Visitors are asked to respect the habitats and wildlife of centre by keeping to the paths at all times and not causing any undue noise. It is especially important to remain quiet in the bird viewing hides.

Photography is permitted on site providing it is for personal use only. All commercial/stock library photography must be agreed in advance with the centre and is subject to a fee.

No dogs are permitted on site, other than trained assistance dogs (eg Guide Dogs).

Accessibilty

  • The centre has level access and hard surfaced, tarmac paths on main routes. The boardwalks are robust wood structures with anti-slip netting surfaces.
  • Low-level viewing windows and level access to most hides.
  • Wheelchairs are available for free loan. (Electric wheelchairs will be available shortly).
  • Trained assistance dogs only (eg Guide Dogs) No other dogs permitted anywhere on site.
  • Accessible toilet available in centre.
  • Free car parking on site. Tarmac surfaces for main parks and reserved bays for disabled.
  • Baby changing facilities available.
  • Picnic area
