Our award – winning visitor centre, overlooks the largest collections of swans, ducks and geese in the world. It has facilities for events of all sizes, including meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and a 92 seat cinema. Slimbridge can facilitate large-scale events in both the Water’s Edge Restaurant and in our grounds.

Water's Edge Restaurant
The Water's Edge Restaurant with its beautiful views of the Caribbean Flamingos, provides seating for 120. With an adjoining paved terrace, which has proved particularly popular for barbeques during the summer, there is additional space for your guests to relax. All food is prepared on site and is sourced from local organic suppliers where possible.
The Harvey Room
Perfect for boardroom style meetings for up to 15 people.
The Cinema
Cinema complete with large screen and 92 seats, tiered for maximun comfort and view, makes the ideal venue for both corporate presentations and screenings.
The Classroom
A light airy room which is perfect for seminars presentations and workshop. Situated next to the lecture theatre this room is also the ideal break out space for corporate away days in the cinema.
The Peng Observatory
Offers a flexible events space for up to 70 people. Here guests can be inspired by spectacular views over the Rushy pen, known to many as Swan Lake as in the winter this provides an unrivalled opportunity to see migratory Russian Bewick's Swans dropping in to rest and feed.
The McNiece Room
Above the Peng Observatory, this room offers an intimate venue, with superb views over the Severn Estuary.
The Foyer
The Foyer is a superb and unique venue for up to 300 people.
