Welney Wetland Centre has an enthusiastic group of volunteers that always welcome new recruits. There are opportunities to help and gain experience on the reserve and in the education department as well as helping out in the Wigeon café or on the membership desk. Volunteering can be very rewarding and our volunteers are a real asset to the centre that we could not survive without.
We have a volunteer coordinator to guide you through becoming a volunteer. People wanting to help with the education and children’s activities have to complete a Criminal Records check.
