A beautiful post sunset sky which made up for the scudding rain clouds haunting the mosslands for most of the day.
The drake Green-Winged Teal was very faithful to the mud in front of the Hale Hide apart from a brief 'tractor flush' when a delivery of potatoes was deposited to the delight of the Whooper Swans and Pink-footed Geese.
Lapwing numbers have increased to 1000. At least 5 Oystercatcher, 2 Redshank, 100+ Black-tailed Godwit and 30+ Ruff.
