You may have noticed that advertising has appeared on our website. This has been done for one reason, to make our website work harder for conservation. Although a difficult decision, this change opens up a big opportunity for us to raise funds for projects that save wetlands and wildlife.

Each time you visit our website you will see adverts that help fund vital conservation work, such as saving endangered species like the spoon-billed sandpiper and Madagascar Pochard. We're also creating and restoring important wetlands around the world, and saving the wildlife that depend on them.

And to ensure the future of wetlands, we're teaching children the importance of wetlands. We're working with schools to build their own sustainable draining systems and give students the chance to learn the importance of wetlands to wider environmental conservation.
