In this entertaining talk ‘The Trials and Tribulations of a TV Naturalist’, The One Show presenter and author Mike Dilger will be recounting his experiences. The talk is an informative, and, in places, hilarious rollercoaster of a ride revealing everything you wanted to know about filming wildlife and writing nature books.
Featuring fabulous clips from some of his best-known programmes and readings from his current book ‘My Garden and Other Animals’ the evening promises to be a celebration of both British wildlife and the work of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) both at home and abroad.
Mike’s energetic, down-to-earth style and encyclopaedic knowledge of the natural world appeal to wildlife lovers of all ages and interests. Mike’s talk will be the grand finale of a series of nine, one at each of WWT’s Centres around the UK. £15PP - includes a glass of wine or soft drink.
