LEGO Brick Animal Trail

Sat 9 September - Sun 5 November

They’re back! The popular giant LEGO® brick-animal trail is back by popular demand this year with some new models not featured in last year’s trail.

The awesome models will form a trail for kids (and big kids) to inspire them to build a better future for nature. Visitors will be able to enjoy the trail of individually-designed 1.5m LEGO® brick animals, some inspired by real species at Llanelli Wetland Centre. Included are a Hawaiian goose (the world’s rarest goose), a red breasted goose and a kingfisher.

Complete the trail and be entered into our prize draw!

LEGO brick workshops (October half term)

Plus, don't miss the chance to take part in an awesome, hour-long LEGO brick workshop.

During the hour you will take part in three exciting tasks. At the start, you will be divided into two teams and will be racing to build against the clock. Then you’ll relax a little as you build a model of a spooky frog (perfect for Halloween) with the teacher’s guidance to take home with you at the end.

Finally, you’ll take part in the great animal escape. Building a Lego brick car to safely transport your animals in. You’ll then test these out on the ramp!

Adults can sit and watch the workshops for free or if they would like to take part and get their very own model duckling, the £8.00 charge applies. Children should not be left in the workshop room on their own.

With just 16 participants in each class, there’s lots of one-to-one support from the course leader. Booking essential, £8pp (plus admission charge).

* LEGO brick workshop advised for children aged 4+ due to small parts and duration of workshop.
