WWT Slimbridge

Home Educators Autumn - Fully Booked

Tue 26 September

‘Who was Sir Peter Scott?’

WWT Slimbridge is offering a great opportunity for home school groups to come learn with us throughout the year 2017. Our next session is on 26 September from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

We’ll have bespoke sessions where you will learn about many aspects of wetlands as well as mingling with likeminded families. Our programmes offer your child(ren) a chance to develop a lasting connection with wetlands through hands on enquiry based learning.

Autumn Session

We’ll learn all about Sir Peter Scott not only as a great conservationist but as a person. We’ll explore Slimbridge his home and get a feel for who he was through several investigations. This will be followed up with a craft to solidify learning.

There are two age group sessions 4 – 7 year olds and 8 – 11 year olds.

The cost for entry and the morning session will be £6.20 per child and one adult per family free, any additional adults will be charged the general admission rate of £11.10 (sadly we are unable to accept membership cards as this is a special event).

If you wish to bring children under the age of 4 years to particpate in the craft activity, there is a charge of £3.10 per child.

Due to popularity of these sessions we are requesting payment in advance. Places are limited.
