Great videos, offers, unmissable events at Slimbridge...
In the Wildlife Weekly video series wildlife experts bring you a taste of what is happening in the natural world, and how to see it for yourself. As all kinds of wildlife come to wetlands, the series is filmed at WWT Slimbridge, a founding centre for wildlife TV.
#14 Sunshine and birdsong brought to you by Slimbridge!
This week’s episode has warden Martin McGill giving an insight behind the scenes on the ‘changing room’ at Slimbridge as birds starting to dress up for a busy breeding season and a Cetti’s warbler ventures out... but who’s the stalker?
A loud chorus of birdsong can be heard as warm southerly winds bring good weather and welcome the arrival of Spring migrants. As well as bursting into song to attract mates, they are also getting active, setting up territories around the site – come down and see for yourselves! With the warm southerly winds, this weekend will see glorious weather for watching wildlife.
And will Martin’s sand martin prediction in this video come true?
P.S. If you manage to capture the impressive spoonbill that has dropped in on video, please send it in for next week’s episode. Any other great shots would be welcome too. Media.email@example.com
