Communications

This site is intended to support WLI members to generate press interest and take part in co-ordinated campaigns around the topics of climate change, migratory bird routes, endangered species and wise use of wetlands (see 'priority themes' section). The exact structure of these campaign issues will be outlined under the 'priority themes' section, and this page gives resources to support your pr work.

WLI Logo

WLI logoFinally we have a new WLI logo! From designs that were put forward, we chose the following design which shows the key elements of the project: people, wetlands and wildlife, with the WLI letters. We hope that you approve, and many thanks for those who took part in the selection process. For larger versions (and local versions with your region shown) please contact the WLI global co-ordinator.

WLI standard texts

If you would like to use the strapline, vision or description of WLI then please feel free!  This text is intended to help give a standard understanding of WLI's approach, but in no way stops you from producing your own, to describe how you work as a member.  We welcome different interpretations according to your local approach.

WLI leaflet

Click here for the WLI leaflet, produced recently in time for the Ramsar and WLI Asia meetings. We will reprint the leaflet once we have chosen a new logo for WLI.
