Some really old pictures of Martin Mere
Our education team found a bundle of old photographs of Martin Mere in the 70s and 80s the other day so I thought I would share them with you. (I am the one in the red jumper below!) In this picture we were busy creating islands on the reserve - this must have been taken in the late 70s.
It is the Model Train show event at Martin Mere over the weekend - the centre is nice and busy even with the rain we have had throughout the morning, but hopefully it will be brighter tomorrow.
