Family fun this October half term

October half term at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre includes the YUK Factor show, pond dipping for mini-beasts and crazy craft sessions.  Special spooky Vampire Boats and the Wetland Witches Potions classes can be booked in advanced. Families can go ‘wild’ on two natural play areas, ride the Wetlands Discovery Boat Safari and see the sea ducks dive for fish - all included in your admission price.

New this year at Arundel Wetland Centre is the YUK Factor Show.  Our Batty Botanist helps you experience the gross and grotty side of nature in a 20 minute show in the Sand Piper Theatre that runs twice a day at 10.30 am and 12.30 pm throughout the October Half term.

Special spooky events this half term include Wetland Witch’s Potions Class Oct 29 and 30 where children discover dark secrets of wetland plants and learn to write spells with quill feather pens. At dusk on the weekdays discover the bats of Arundel with a ride on the Vampire Boats. Climb aboard as the cloak of darkness settles in to look out for the creatures of the night as they emerge for their evening feeds. Boats run at 4.30 or 5 pm for £5 pp advance booking please. Call 01903 881530. This is an evening event so the rest of the grounds are closed. Admission charges do not apply.

WWT Arundel Wetland Centre, Mill Road, Arundel BN18 9PB is open from 9:30-4:30pm seven days a week. Call 01903 881530 for more information on events or visit www.wwt.org.uk/arundel
