Latest Sightings - 2nd December - Christmas Fayre today!

A slightly more mild morning on the reserve, with a bit of cloud cover.

Its our Christmas Fayre TODAY, 1-4pm. A great range of stalls will be here including knitwear, wildlife illustrations, woodwork, bird boxes & tables, soft furnishings, Fairtrade products & silver jewellery. We also have family activities & Santa will be in the yurt!

You do not need to buy a ticket if you only want to visit the Fayre or see Santa!

Many of the ponds are still frozen, meaning the vast majority of the birds are using the Whooper Pond where the swans have kept the ice broken.

Yellowhammers are beginning to arrive in the Avenue. Hopefully their numbers will climb and we will have our usual wintering flock.
