GIANT duck hunt

HELP!   Calling all kids - we’ve lost our GIANT yellow ducks and we need you and your family to help  find them at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre this Easter (24 March - 8 April).

You’ll need to use all your special detective skills to track down these 25 cheeky birds and be in with a chance of winning a yummy tasty treat and a certificate (It is 50p to enter)

Nick Brooks from WWT said: “Our wardens are great at counting up all the baby ducklings, goslings and cygnets waddling around our visitors’ feet at centres during the Easter holidays. But for some reason they keep missing these cheeky GIANT yellow rubber ducks – so come along to your local wetland centre and help us find them!”

As well as the GIANT duck hunt, Martin Mere also have a range of other family activities during the Easter holidays, including go along to otter talk and feeds, white stork feeds, delve into ponds and see what creatures you can find in daily pond dipping sessions, have a muddy adventure in wild walk, build a den out of conifer, take to the water on our canoe and boat safari, paint a duck and swing, climb, fly and play in our adventure playground…. And that is before you hand feed the birds.   Search Martin Mere online for further information.

Normal admission charges apply to enter WWT Martin Mere.

WWT Martin Mere is open every day from 9.30am to 4.30pm (6pm from 24 March) and parking is free of charge.
