New Life event this May half term

Wild ducklings are wandering the reserve during New Life event May 26 - June 3

The New Life event on 26 May - 3 June at Arundel Wetland Centre offers activities for families to explore what's new in nature this spring in Sussex.  See what's hatched out this May with our friendly guides in the hides and roaming wardens. Coot and moorhen chicks, wild ducklings and gosling families are wandering the reserve.

Get hands on with the WWT Wetlands Busker's New Life trolley to discover eggstra-ordinary eggs, feathers & wings and the wonders of nest designs. The trolley roams the reserve every morning and afternoon.

Go pond dipping to fish out wild wonders in our fabulous Pond Explorer Station with the WWT Learning team on hand to help ID your catch! The Pond Explorer Station is open every day of half term from 11am - 1pm & 2 - 4pm

Take a trip on the Wetland Discovery Boat safari everyday between 11am - 4.30pm. What will you discover on this brilliant 20-minute guided voyage through the reedbed channels? Water vole? Kingfisher? Wild

s? Come rain or shine the boat safari is open and it’s free with your admission price.

Create a Cracking Children's Craft every afternoon from 2 - 4pm in the Swan Lake Room of the Visitor Centre.

Arundel Wetland Centre is open every day. The 65 acre wetland reserve has buggy friendly, paved, level pathways and sturdy wooden boardwalks. The boat rides, pond dipping and the wildlife hides are wheelchair accessible.
