About me

I have been a Secretary, PA and Assistant for over 20 years, starting at KPMG and Prudential Insurance before spending the majority of my career in the legal sector. I then moved to financial services, dealing with investments. Prior to WWT I was at Renishaw Engineering as PA to the General Counsel/Company Secretary. I joined WWT in September 2021 and love my role and the charity and feel like I have found my perfect job.

Nature and conservation is my lifelong passion. I regularly undertook school wildlife projects and was first introduced to Slimbridge when I was very young by my parents where one of my first experiences was having a Barnacle goose take my entire bread! It is also when I fell in love with Nene geese. I adore watching, understanding and constantly learning new things about nature.

I live near Berkeley and enjoy baking, caring for my pets (two rabbits, one dog and one cat), gardening, learning tennis and golf, films, music, fashion, the theatre, concerts and travel.


My role is varied and, as new team member from September 2021, this is constantly evolving. I like a challenge and am keen to increase my knowledge and expand my responsibilities. I work closely with the Programme Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Programme Office teams; Project Development, UK Programmes and International Programmes. Currently, I assist with a number of eFinance procedures such as new supplier requests, raising purchase orders and goods receipting. Additionally, I maintain a number of employee registers including annual leave and health & safety training. I also support the induction process for new members of Programme Office staff. I am a proficient meeting organiser and provide a thorough travel planning service.

  • Highly IT proficient, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the use of social media in a business context
  • Organised, responsible and analytical, with a focus on prioritisation and effectively managing varied tasks and deadlines as well as having a strict attention to detail and ensuring that this is maintained whilst working under pressure
  • A clear focus on understanding the bigger picture including analysing how smaller tasks can impact larger areas
  • Strong communication skills enabling effective working with others and the building of strong, professional and friendly working relationships
  • Constantly keen to acquire new skills and knowledge and expand my existing areas of expertise as well as my job role and responsibilities
