Whether you've lost a loved one who had a special connection to WWT, or you want to preserve treasured memories of visiting one of our centres with someone precious to you, we can help.
Donations at a Funeral
By asking people to donate to WWT instead of buying flowers, you can ensure that your loved one's passion for wildlife lives on through out work.
We can help you with all you need, click here for more details.
Tree of Life
If you are local to our Slimbridge Wetland Centre, you can celebrate the life of your loved one with a beautiful inscribed leaf hand on one of our Trees of Life. This wonderful place of quiet contemplation is surrounded by a tranquil Garden of Reflection, a perfect setting for you to visit and remember your loved one.
You can download the form here, or send us an email enquiry here.
We have commemoration books at Arundel, London, Martin Mere and Slimbridge wetland centres. Each book has a page for every day of the year, allowing you to commemorate your loved one on a birthday or anniversary that’s special to you.
At Arundel, Martin Mere and London, you may also enter a short description alongside an illustration of a British wetland animal or flower. A sample sheet of entries is available here.
For our commemoration books we request a minimum donation in order to make an entry, as set out in the table below. You're most welcome to donate a greater amount, helping wetlands and nature thrive long into the future
|Entry only||Entry with illustration||Donation form|
|Martin Mere||£200||£300||Martin Mere form|
|Slimbridge||£200||Not available||Slimbridge form|
