Every year we are pleased to offer a rare opportunity to gain excellent practical experience in our fabulous wetland reserves by offering a number of year-long placements. We are now pleased to open applications for placements that will commence in August 2018.
These 12 month volunteer opportunities are ideal for students currently on an undergraduate degree course who are looking for a placement as part of their sandwich year. However they are also open to graduates or non-students who are looking to gain practical experience in Reserve Management or wetland conservation.
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) currently offers opportunities in three areas of reserve management at various sites across the UK, several of our centres are able to offer accommodation. Placements will commence in August 2018.
Full details of all the roles can be found below as well as an application form. Applications close on the 20th November 2017 with the exception of the Conservation Grazing role at Martin Mere which closes on the 13th November 2017.
