October Half Term
This autumn, bring your family to experience the ‘spookier’ side of incredible wetland wildlife. Every day during half term (27 Oct – 4 Nov) head to the Discovery Room between 11am and 12pm to take part in our Wetland Detectives Workshop to enjoy gruesome owl pellet dissections, mystery skeletons, intriguing insects and much more. Then, in the afternoon, join our expert guides for some ‘spooky pond dipping’ to learn more about the slimy, wriggly and slippery inhabitants of our ponds as you view them on the big screen! Who will you catch? To wrap up your day, head to our craft corner for some Halloween crafts to take home.
11am - 12pm: Wetland Detectives Workshop (drop-in session)
1pm – 1.45pm: Guide in The Heron’s Wing Hide
