North West Bird Watching Festival 2021

This year’s festival takes place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.

From dawn till dusk

Open from 8am, watch the spectacle of thousands of geese leave the roost before heading for breakfast in Mere Side Café. The centre is open until 7pm on the Saturday to watch up to 30,000 pink-footed geese return to the roost. From guest speakers and exhibitors to photography workshops and guided reserve walks, there’s a whole range of activities for you to enjoy for a full day out from dawn till dusk.

Exhibitors

Across the two-day festival there’ll be a whole host of exhibitors selling everything from artwork and books to wildlife holidays, spend some time browsing what's on offer.
