Witness bird and waterfowl ringing, take part in a photography workshop and witness up to 20,000 pink-footed geese on the mere.

: Join Reserve Warden Jack Grimsditch on a guided tour of the reserve. He’ll show you all the best spots on the reserve and will introduce you to our most interesting wetland species.

Cost: £10 per canoe (book on the day) / £3 per seat on guided boat.

: Grab a paddle and take to the water on the canoe safari or book onto a guided boat tour to go around our wetlands.

: Explore the Fujifilm range and join our specialists as we talk you through the Fujifilm system whilst covering the best for wildlife photography. The latest FUJIFILM mirrorless X-H2S camera & XF150-600mm lens will be available to try.

When: Saturday, 11am - 12:30pm
Cost: £5 per person (bookable in advance)

: Join wildlife photographer and FUJIFILM UK ambassador Alan Hewitt for some short photography sessions around the reserve. We’ll be looking at camera set up for wildlife photography and practising some techniques amongst the birds. Fujifilm cameras and lenses are available to try.

Cost: Free (drop in)

: Expert bird ringer and Martin Mere Reserve Manager Louise Clewley will demonstrate how bird ringing is done and explain why it is such important work. Get your camera ready for some great close ups!
