Time: 11am and 1.30pm
Our wetlands are a wildlife wonderland in winter. For an additional activity during your visit, take part in a guided winter walk around our grounds and reserve with one of our expert volunteers. They'll tell you all about the history of our site and the wildlife you can see as you explore, including information about the amazing whooper swans and their amazing migration journey from Iceland to Martin Mere.
You'll also be given some tips and tricks on bird watching and how to identify certain species around the reserve.
This walk lasts approximately 1 and a half hours and may at times be muddy, so suitable footwear is advised. Meeting point is the Discovery Hide.
*Please note there will be no guided walks on Friday 14th and Friday 21st February.
