Pick up one of our Drawn to Water illustrated trails and explore our seasonal natural highlights, from quiet spots with breathtaking views to close up wildlife encounters.

Spend time with friends and family and engage your senses as you experience uplifting autumnal colours, the crunch of leaves underfoot and the sounds of migrating birds.

Unlock your creativity and explore wetland nature through our range of art and illustration activities for all ages and abilities, inspired by Quentin Blake's wonderfully distinctive drawings. Activities

• Drawn to Water Trail – from 11 September, collect your illustrated trail map complete with Quentin Blake’s drawings and see our wetlands in a whole new light.
• Exhibition - on until 16 September, enjoy a selection of Quentin Blake’s illustrations in our gallery.
• Look out for large format installations around the grounds - on until 16th September. Discover 4 large scale Quentin Blake illustrations and 2 large frames for fun photo opportunities!
• Skies and Silhouettes drawing activity in the Art Hub. Decorate your own sky with birds, inspired by our founder, Sir Peter Scott. Tuesdays and Saturdays, 2-4pm.
• Toddlers can enjoy weekly nature activities at Friday Froglets club. Find out more.
• Birds in Print - 21 & 22 October. A weekend printmaking course, exploring nature printing and linocut. Find out more.
• On Tuesdays be drawn to water and experience the art throughout Scott House Museum on an art discovery guided tour. Explore Peter's Scott's remarkable career and look at some of his most significant paintings, as well as the works of other artists in one of the most impressive private collections of wildlife art in the country. Drawn to Water: Quentin Blake at WWT is a partnership between WWT and Quentin Blake, one of the UK's best-known and well-loved illustrators, to celebrate the wonders of wetlands. The experience is available nationally at our ten UK wetland sites with seasonal illustrated trails, events and activities to enjoy throughout autumn and winter 2023-24.
