Mosaic Coaster Making for Two
Join Rachel Shilston for a fun, family experience making coaster mosaics and learning a new skill.

Time: 10.30am - 12 noon
On this one-and-a-half-hour workshop, you will each use the ‘direct method’ to create a beautiful mosaic coaster.
You'll use vitreous glass tiles, ceramic beads, broken vintage plates, buttons and plenty of unique touches to create a stunning design.
You will learn how to:
- Plan a design
- Shape your tiles
- Glue your tiles
- Grout your finished piece
We won’t get time to grout as the glue will still be wet, but a demo will be given and you’ll be given enough grout to finish your piece at home.
No experience necessary, suitable for beginners.
All the tools, materials and tuition will be provided, plus a hot drink voucher.
Cost: £45 per two people, additional participants can be added on to your booking for £15. This workshop is appropriate for children, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
