Centre closure

We’re making some changes to how we operate, so we can make sure our wetland sites thrive in the future. To help us make time to prepare for these changes, the site will be closed temporarily, from Wednesday 12 November until Tuesday 18 November. You can find out what this means for you here.

Walk on the Wild Side

Wander through flower filled meadows, past wild orchids and orange-tipped butterflies on our wonderful wildflower meadow walk (open May - September).

Follow the banks of the Lochar Water, looking out for roe deer and otter tracks. Maybe you will glimpse an osprey fishing in the river. See dragonflies and damselflies flitting between the vegetation.

An enriching highlight of the spring and summer season that reveals our glorious wetland flora and fauna.
