David Lindo 20th anniversary birdwalking event
Join WWT Vice President David Lindo for a free bird walk around Steart Marshes.
WWT Vice President David Lindo is celebrating his 20th anniversary as The Urban Birder in 2026
To mark this occasion, he will be leading a series of free bird walks, hosted at some of our sites up and down the country. Join David for some smiles, tales from concrete jungles and, of course, to learn more about birds!
Date: Sunday 19th July
Time: 10.00am - 1.00pm
Members and non-members of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Places are limited to the first 20 applicants so please register your free space through this page.
Where to meet: In the main WWT car park at Steart Marshes, Stert Drove, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA5 2PU.
Please note: We will be walking on the reserve for the duration of the time, so please dress accordingly. We advise wearing sturdy boots and dressing for the weather, as well as bringing plenty of water and suncream.
