Steart Marshes Tower Hide Walk - Celebrating 10 years of the Coast Path in Somerset

Steart Marshes Tower Hide Walk - Celebrating 10 years of the Coast Path in Somerset

Date: Sunday 2nd August

Time: Starting at 10am

Cost: Free but donations are welcome to support out work - booking is essential.

This summer we are celebrating ten years of the King Charles III English Coast Path in Somerset. Join one of our local volunteers to walk this shorter section of the path, including a visit to the tower hide at Stert Point, the delightful summer path and northern breach.

The walk is 2.5 miles long and takes about 1.5 hours. There are no climbs but very uneven ground on the marsh and pebble ridge.

Where to meet: Bridgwater Bay Car Park at the Northern end of the reserve, what3words: imagined.permit.eagle

Please note - we will be out on the nature reserve for the duration of the walk. Please dress accordingly, with sturdy shoes. We recommend bringing sun cream and plenty of water.

More coast path walks happening as part of the 10 year anniversary celebration can be found here.

Please email info.steart@wwt.org.uk with any questions.
