17 Gadwall - wader scrape

2 Oystercatcher - main lake

Reed Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap all singing around the reserve. Hairy Dragonflies are flying and Damselflies are emerging and many new flowers are popping up around the reserve, including orchids in the wildside. Lots of Hirundinidae and Apodidae filling the skies over the reserve!

Flowering plants: Great Burnet, Salad Burnet, Crane's-bill, Goat's Beard, Yellow Flag Iris, Yellow Rattle, Common Bistort, Jack-by-the-hedge, Bugle, Ramsones, Bluebell, Marsh Marigold, Cowslip, Lesser Celandine, Herb Robert, Cuckoo-flower, Ox Eye Daisy, Daisy, Dandelion, Rowan, Hawthorn, Hazel, Wild Cabbage, Dogwood, Guelder Rose, Bramble, Common Vetch, Dogrose, Elder, Common Mallow, Common Birdsfoot Trefoil.

Insects: Brimstone, Small White, Large White, Peacock, Holly Blue, Orange Tip, Green Veined White, Painted Lady, Hairy Dragonfly, Blue Tailed Damselfly (Fi violacea), Azure Damselfly, Alder Leaf Beetle, Poplar Leaf Beetle, Thick-Legged Flower Beetle.
