Parking at London Wetland Centre

We have free parking available to visitors of our wetland centre.

Our car park operates an ANPR camera system, so please enter your full and correct vehicle registration into one of the tablets at the admissions desk before you leave the centre.

EV Charging

We have four EV chargepoints available at a charge of 35p/kWH. These points are on the Podpoint Network and appear on the Podpoint and Zapmap chargepoint maps so you can double check they are available and working before coming to the site. If you haven't already, save time by downloading the Podpoint app before your visit.

Accessible Parking

We have eight accessible parking bays plus an additional accessible bay for EV charging.

Coaches

Coach drivers for schools and group visits will also need to enter their vehicle registration into one of the tablets at the admissions desk.

Car Park Opening Times

Our car park is open from 9am every day except Christmas day, when the centre is closed.

The car park gates are locked 30 minutes after the centre closes – visit our Opening Times page for more information.

Paying for Parking

If you are not visiting the centre, you are still welcome to use our car park but will need to buy a ticket. You can pay via the Evology app (location 300156) when you arrive or use one of the payment machines near the toilets to pay for your parking when you leave. Please note the payment machines take cards only.

The following parking tariff is valid until 31st March 2026.

Community Toilet Scheme

The toilets in our car park are available to the public as part of Richmond Council’s Community Toilet Scheme. Our toilets are free to use during our opening hours, although please note that parking in our car park will require a ticket.
