Wildlfowers are looking at their best with particularly tall and robust plants appearing as they have had to compete with the lush grass growth this summer. Some spectacular examples incude Betony, Field Scabious, Knapweed, Meadow Vetchling, Tuifted Vetch and Lady's Bedstraw all growing very well around the sheltered lagoon paths.
Check out the tall herb fen meadows in wildside for other colourful plant communities at the moment. The Meadowsweet here is having a great growing season.
