Book your visit

To help keep you and our staff, volunteers and local communities safe, we're continuing to limit the number of people who can visit each day. This means we need everyone to book, including those who visit for free such as members, children under four and carers.

You remain our primary concern, so rest assured we’re following the latest guidance. We know how important it is to be out in nature and feel safe.

Please make sure you're able to follow safety guidance before booking your visit.

Visit essentials

We know some things can make or break a visit so below are the things you've told us are most important to know before booking.

  • Cleaning - we’ve increased our cleaning regime, particularly our toilets. And we have plenty of hand sanitiser available around the site.
  • Food and drink - take away food and drink available. Our restaurant reopens on 29th May.
  • Hides – Peacock Tower closed, all other hides open with restrictions
  • Play areas - outdoor play areas open 9:30 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 16:00 and cleaned regularly. Indoor play areas currently closed
  • Toilets - open and cleaned regularly
  • Wheelchair hire - available

Book your tickets

Everyone, whether you’re a WWT member or not, must book in advance for the day you wish to visit. You'll receive a booking confirmation once checkout is complete - please bring this with you on the day.

After carefully assessing our on-site safety we’re removing time slots from Tuesday 15th June so that you can arrive any time between 9:30am and 4pm and enjoy the site until closing.

If you’ve already booked a ticket with a time slot, you don’t need to do anything – your ticket is still valid and you’re welcome to arrive whenever you like on the specified day. We’ll be in touch via email shortly to confirm this.

Pre-existing ticket holders: If you bought a ticket before 31 March 2020 and not used it, they’re valid until 31 December 2021. You don’t have to buy new tickets, but please make a free booking for the day you intend to visit. You will need to bring your original ticket and your booking confirmation.
