Generation Wild project receives Gold Award!

We're thrilled to announce that Generation Wild, our nature connection project for primary schools, has won the prestigious Gold award in the education category at this year's BIAZA awards.

Generation Wild passionately engages primary school children from disadvantaged areas, igniting their love for nature through captivating story-telling, immersive technology, and nature connection activities both in school and within the community. The project was a collaboration between WWT and the interactive design studio- Stand + Stare. It is brought to life by our dedicated Learning Teams across 7 WWT sites, including the London Wetland Centre.

BIAZA, recognizing its outstanding impact, highlighted the clear benefits the project brings to both nature and children's well-being. In fact, an astounding 100% of teachers who provided feedback expressed their wholehearted recommendation of Generation Wild to others. We couldn't be prouder of this exceptional project and are delighted to receive such well-deserved recognition.

Through Generation Wild, we have witnessed first-hand the profound impact it has had on children, fostering their deep connection with nature and nurturing their sense of wonder. We invite you to learn more about this inspiring project by visiting the link below.
