Cyanotype Printmaking Workshop
Get creative and dive into festive fun at our hands-on workshop in the heart of our tranquil wetland centre.

Join Ecologist Connor Butler for a hands-on cyanotype printmaking workshop with a seasonal twist.
Developed in the 1840s, cyanotype is a photographic process that uses UV light to create striking blue-and-white prints. By arranging winter-themed plants onto light-sensitive paper, you’ll craft your own unique botanical artworks to take home, turn into Christmas cards, or give as handmade gifts.
As you work, you will learn about the ecology of these plants and hear some of the stories and traditions linked to them. This workshop is a relaxed and creative way to celebrate the season.
Date: Saturday 6 December
Time: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Location: Thames Water H2O building
Price: £25 (including admission)
