Upcoming habitat management on the reserve in August
Working on the wader scrape w/c 4th August. Working on the main lake w/c August 11th.
We will be carrying out annual habitat management in these areas during August:-
wader scrape - August 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th
main lake - August 12th, 13th, 14th
Removing vegetation from islands and muddy areas to maintain these habitats for passage and wintering waders and ducks, like Snipe, Green Sandpiper, Jack Snipe and Shoveler.
