Wildlife Sightings for 12th September 2025
Glossy Ibis still present on the grazing marsh. A Hobby and Buzzard seen flying over site and two Garden Warblers around the sheltered lagoon.

1 Buzzard - over site
1 Hobby - over the main lake
1 Redstart - sheltered lagoon
2 Garden Warbler - sheltered lagoon
1 Willow Warbler - sheltered lagoon
1 Swallow - over main lake
40+ Passage Sand Martins and House Martins feeding over the main lake.
Butterflies and dragonflies (early-September) - Red Admiral, Clouded Yellow, Small White, Green-veined White, Large White, Speckled Wood, Common Blue, Small Heath, Blue-tailed Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, Small red-eyed Damselfly, Willow Emerald Damselfly, Common Darter, Ruddy Darter, Southern Hawker, Migrant Hawker.
