Oystercatcher numbers have tripled. Also Little Ringed Plovers displaying, and a lot more Reed Warbler singing

6 Oystercatcher - main lake, marsh

1 Little Egret - wader scrape

1 Kestrel - south route

50+ Sand Martin - across site

5 House Martin - feeding over site

1 Whitethroat - sheltered lagoon

20+ Reed Warbler - across site

5 Sedge Warbler - reservoir lagoon, marsh, reedbed

15+ Chiffchaff - across site

7+ Blackcap - across site

Dunnock, Wren, Robin, Cetti's Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Great Tit and Reed Bunting are all singing across the reserve.

Butterflies and other insects (April)- Early Bumblebee, White-tailed Bumblebee, Honey Bee, Buff-tailed Bumblebee, Ashy Mining Bee, Grey-patch Mining Bee, Red-tailed Bumblebee, Tree Bumblebee, Green Hairstreak, Peacock, Red Admiral, Brimstone, Small White, Large White, Small Tortoiseshell, Comma, Speckled Wood, Orange-tip, Holly Blue, Bee-fly, Hoverfly sp.
